Steve Jobs wears the same outfit every day. The creator of the iPod is facing the need to make decisions as often as the leader of one of the most successful companies world, decided to withdraw one of the less important tasks, the collection of clothes. So, every morning puts on jeans, a black turtleneck and New Balance sneakers, trying to simplify their lives and agitated.

Intrigued, TM Shine freelance writer recently spent two weeks with no choice. It was decided to do an experiment in which he asked strangers to take all decisions for him. Interactions are often funny, and the reactions through pedestrians ranging from irritation of the home.

His new life began in a donut shop in search of a person willing to choose a dozen pies in his name. After the third attempt, he found a man happy to do so. Later, after a trot, stopped at a Starbucks, where a customer asked what was drink. "Water," he said as he busily packed his things and left.

TM Shine questions about many of the strange other mundane tasks as well. "If I sleep or get up early tomorrow?" Said one. Another asked about whether he should be shaved or not the next day. His essay appeared in The Washington Post, and includes stories like the day you asked someone to choose a book to read (birdsong of life), and a different person to choose their insurance (BlueCross Plan 71-hospital and surgical only). One participant wishing him enrolled in a painting class at a local university.

Sounds appealing, right? In a world where we are constantly bombarded by both messages seeking our attention, sometimes it seems a relief to be freed from the need to choose.

However, as a principle of leadership is to succeed you have to make good decisions. To make good decisions you need experience. And how to get experience? By making bad decisions! In general, we must be bold in our decision making and has no fear of leaving the faith.

Frank Buchman said, "The lesson of the world need most is the art of listening to God. "As we spend around 2010 with new resolutions and good intentions, consider the need for make a decision first on our list. We have decided to listen more closely, we can hear his voice in our individual lives more than ever in the next twelve months. And finally, do not be surprised If you are approached by a stranger this year sincerely ask, enamelled or sprayed?
