I start doing my own hair assecories would be a hot glue gun or glue work best for this?
I am interested in accounts tape, flowers, sequins, plastic and all sorts of things to the bars of metal and fabric, hair pins and headbands. In your opinion, what is the best type of glue for this? Are there other adhesives, you can get at the fabric store that work well and have very strong? TIA!
glue gun can easily explode to stick to smooth surfaces such as metal unless there is also a mechanical "hold" a certain type (like putting glue in a way that has caused at least some "wrap around" something metal, or filtered through a research opening, etc.) The most common strong strips transparent adhesive etc, epoxy glue or E6000 both parties (in addition to setting the time, most will be safe). There are also permanent white tails are much stronger than others, and may even be proposed for metal ornaments (tissue) or as GemTac Jewel-It. We decorate ornaments polymer clay Pinback, etc. in these cases and usually try to have the clay wrapping around a portion of the finding that metal, or to gather around him (in some Area measure). If you are interested in some of these techniques, check out these two pages on my website: http://glassattic.com/polymer/jewelry.htm (Click on special "Barrett" and "Pinback" categories) http://glassattic.com/polymer/pendants_cording. htm If you use a strip or a bandage, so many elements can be fixed by wrapping fine wire (in and around or part of the structure, the accounts of the tape, etc, then wrapping Research metal).
